About the Role
As part of the Research Infrastructure team, the Program Development Officer - Engagement plays a crucial role in realising the University's research and innovation ambitions, outlined in Advancing Melbourne 2030. You'll work as a key member of the Research Data Management (RDM) program, driving its strategy to enable research, support researchers and safeguard sensitive data. • Amplify RDM best practices: Shape a University-wide communication strategy to elevate RDM awareness and best practices.
  • Craft diverse RDM resources: Collaborate to develop engaging resources (websites, tools, guides, etc.) that promote and enable best practices.
  • Empower researchers: Build and deliver RDM training (workshops, presentations) with colleagues to boost researcher capabilities.

You'll excel at navigating relationships with stakeholders across all levels, building trust and collaboration within our large organisation. A master of organisation and planning, you juggle multiple projects with ease, prioritizing tasks and delivering results on time. You shine both independently and in teams, able to grasp intricate project details, navigate uncertainty, and proactively address issues, keeping senior leadership informed every step of the way. Are you ready to tackle dynamic challenges and make a mark in this fast-paced environment?

You will also have:

  • A tertiary research degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Experience working in research, Research Data Management or research administration, preferably in a University context.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare high quality documentation and resources in a variety of formats and for diverse audiences, with a high attention to detail, clarity and accuracy.
