Program Management Officer The opportunity:An experienced PMO Support Officer is required to join a government defence organisation in Canberra. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, coordination, and execution of key defence programmes, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Responsibilities of your new role:

• Manage candidate progression through the recruiting process at the HQ level.
• Managing non-medical waivers for when candidates do not meet Service enlistment criteria;
• Candidate issue management between the ADF Careers Centre staff, the Service Recruiting, Liaison Officers, Career Management Agencies and the Executive Office, updating associated policy
• Assisting with the management of selection boards between DFR and the ADF
• Other business as usual (BAU) tasks to assist with seamless operations
• Adhoc duties

What you will need to be successful in the position:

• Attention to detail;
• Highly developed communication skills;
• Stakeholder liaison with both internal and external stakeholders;
• Computer literacy and good record management skills
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task.
• Minimum baseline security clearance
