Program Manager Agency Capability Review

The Public Sector Commission is on a mission to create an innovative and future fit public sector for all Western Australians.

This position leads and manages a dedicated program team whose work provides assurance to government and the community that agencies funded through the public purse are delivering what is expected of them.

The team contributes to the direction and management of the Agency Capability Review Program, and supports review teams with coordinating and delivering reviews.

We are now looking for someone with program or project management experience or skills who loves organising and scheduling, building relationships, and identifying and implementing process improvements. This opportunity is available until 31 December 2024 (with the possibility of extension or permanency).

You’ll lead and manage a team that supports the delivery of Agency Capability Reviews using an endorsed framework. You’ll manage program resourcing, coordinate review teams, maintain a forward review program, and track significant matters that may impact the review schedule and framework.

You don’t need to have review experience but we do want someone who is committed to improving the capability of the public sector, has experience or transferrable skills in program or project management – and is a great team leader.
