Employment Type: Full time (35 hours per week)
Duration: 12-month contract
Remuneration: Level 9 $138,171 - $146,613 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading
Location: Kensington, NSW (Hybrid Working)

Why Your Role Matters:
Provides project management and guidance to support the implementation of space strategies and supporting processes for the Future Campus project delivery. The Future Campus project was established to set up principles and guidelines to inform delivery of innovative and future focussed research, education, and workplace spaces that enable a vibrant campus experience for staff, students and visitors.
The Program Manager works as a key role in the Future CampusProject Team and will support the progress of space strategies and supporting processes within Estate Management for the success of the project. The incumbent is expected to exercise a high degree of initiative and judgement to coordinate multiple activities and provide exceptional organisation and planning to ensure project success. They will work with a range of staff across multiple areas of Estate Management and stakeholders in the University environment to meet objectives. Using previous project management and administration experience they are expected to resolve complex issues and fully utilise their knowledge of project management to be successful in their role. The role will support the Future Campus and Asset Management team to deliver the new space policies, procedures, and implementation as a part of the strategic asset management plan for the university.
The Program Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Future Campus and has no direct reports.
Responsibilities:
Manages overall project organisation for the implementation phase of the Future Campus project.
Manages the development and implementation of project plans to meet objectives.
Develops and embeds project governance and reporting framework to monitor implementation, progress and delivery of the project.
Manages project stakeholders and collaborates with Project Teams to ensure that project deliverables and milestones are achieved.
Manages project financials against budget.
Undertakes ad-hoc projects and other activities.

Who You Are:
Degree in Project Management or related discipline, including extensive experience in managing projects in a complex, diverse operational environment.
Sound understanding and consistent application of project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, cost, risk, procurement and integration.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work.
Outstanding organisational skills and demonstrated ability to define and manage competing priorities, including project timelines and critical paths to keep projects moving forward productively and efficiently.
Experience in working on processes and procedures across different teams/areas to lead business improvement and increase collaboration.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of matters.
Financial management experience and literacy, experience managing budgets and controlling income and expenditure for a project.
Previous experience in the higher education/tertiary sector or at a complex, multi-faceted organisation.
Experience managing a diverse group of key internal/external stakeholders on large or complex projects.
Experience project managing multiple work streams, or leading large complex projects and ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands.
