How will I help?You will be part of the team that leads technology “change and run” services for Westpac's “Cash & Transactional Banking” business unit (ie everyday banking)Your role will lead delivery of a change portfolio which comprises projects in Payment Switching, Cards/Scheme networks, ATM and Cash technologies.Interesting and varied pipeline which includes two significant strategic transformation programs in Payment gateway / orchestration, and ATM/Cash services.
Your key responsibilities include:- Project/Program Delivery: Lead delivery of technology change in the Payments domain, incl prioritisation of demand, scope/budget/timeline management, project governance and delivery (using Group frameworks, processes and tools)
- Portfolio Financial Management: leading and collaborating across teams to develop cost estimates; manage and report program/project delivery against agreed budget, milestones and benefits, and ensuring suitable resource capacity is available to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: grow relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, providing direction and influence in the formulation of requirements/scope, in line with strategic direction for business and technology. Ensure dependencies on other teams across the Group are identified and controlled as necessary to ensure delivery of end-to-end outcomes.
- Partnerships: Manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring effective delivery and adherence to SLAs
- Risk & issue management: identification, monitoring, reporting and escalation of risks and issues and/or problems in the program/project, including challenging and influencing to resolve
- Test & Release management: planning and execution of optimised test and release plans, including quality assurance and testing automation uplifts

What do I need?- track record of delivering complex projects in the Payments/Cards domain, incl Scheme networks
- prior experience in Payment Switching, ATM, Point of Sale, Cash, Cards technologies
- experience in software delivery, that includes improving testing/quality measures and release management practices
- strong stakeholder management experience and collaboration skills, including management of suppliers and strategic partners
