The opportuity The Ambassador is a non-traditional security position designed to engage in people focused, respectful and empathetic interactions with patients, consumers and visitors in a customer-focused liaison role to promote a safe environment and prevent and/or reduce aggressive or disruptive behaviours.
The Program Support Officer will perform essential administrative duties (primarily program data collection, validation and reporting) in support to the Ambassador Program and the Health Security Department.
Generous remuneration package value up to $110,852 p.a. comprising:
Salary rates between $3380.20 - $3724.00 p.f. (AO4)
Annual leave loading + leave
12.75% employer superannuation contribution

Role requirements
Provide high level administrative support to the Manager, Health Security Department and key stakeholders as required, including the production of high-quality documents.
Deliver high level written and oral communication, including analysis, interpretation and presentation of data in reports, correspondence and submissions to a high standard.
Liaise, consult, and negotiate with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure positive working partnerships.
Prepare and distribute project reports with data collected from various platforms, on a fortnightly basis.
Monitor and report on duties and interventions undertaken by Ambassadors and showcase findings to relevant authorities/stakeholders.
Collate, distribute, and report on staff and consumer feedback and surveys.
Work collaboratively with the Health Security Department, Emergency Department and the Health Safety and Wellness Department to build knowledge and capability in areas of health management and injury prevention.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated experience providing administrative support and undertaking administrative activities including document and records management.
Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with a strong commitment to quality improvement and teamwork.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Forms and PowerPoint applications) to prepare documentation to defined quality standards.
Ability to establish effective partnerships and to consult with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical and non-clinical staff, through the application of oral and written communication skills.
