About the Opportunity:
Currently, Ngaanyatjarra Services has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time Project Accountant to join the team based in the Perth Office.
This role is focused on financial management of specific projects and is critical for ensuring that a project remains within its budget, achieves its financial goals, and complies with financial regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Financial management and reporting for various group entities.
- Assistance with the statutory audit
- Insurances
- Statutory and regulatory reporting (ORIC / ACNC)
- Financial monitoring and reporting
- Risk management
- Preparation of the annual budgets
About you:
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict management.
- Effective organization, time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Appropriate accounting qualifications and either a current CPA or CA or working towards these qualifications
- Demonstrated financial management experience in an organisation of similar size and composition.
