The role
We are seeking a Project Administrator who:
- Has recent project administrative experience with commercial and industrial projects ranging from $10k - $2m.
- Has a desire to learn and grow, and who enjoys working as part of a team, using initiative and thinking on your feet.
The role is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday based in our head office in Salisbury, Brisbane.
As part of a small, multidisciplinary team, you will be a key component of the Panel Delivery team, carrying out administrative duties that support others and ensure the successful delivery of projects to high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will be given all the support required to perform your role to the highest standard as well as the freedom to make the role your own. The right person will grow their knowledge and experience as the business grows, opening up excellent opportunities for career progression.
Tasks & responsibilities
Support the Contract Administrator as required with tasks such as:
- Client, subcontractor and supplier communication
- Subcontracts administration
- Finance and procurement duties, such as raising and receipting of purchase orders, obtaining quotes and sourcing plant and materials
- Analysis of project data to produce relevant reports
- Assist to manage subcontractor inductions on site and through the client’s systems
- Assist to manage subcontractor SWMS and approval via Procore and client systems
- Assist to receive and manage subcontractor documents and records relating to projects
- Project document control
- General administrative assistance to the Panel Construction Manager, Modular Manager, Panel Project Managers and Contract Administrators.
Qualifications & experience
- Prior experience in an administrative role in a construction environment, ideally relating to commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong focus on delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
- Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A basic understanding of project management methodology would be advantageous.
- JobPac or similar construction finance software experience desirable.
- Professional attitude with the desire to learn and progress your career in the construction industry.
