- Exciting opportunity to join the Jetstar Commercial, Ancillary Revenue business unit
- Shape and implement the commercial projects strategy, working with a diverse group of stakeholders.

The Project and Portfolio Specialist is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a new commercial project governance structure and provide specialised knowledge in the formulation of governance processes, procedures, and Portfolio reporting. You will support the management of Project and Portfolio activities including developing project artefacts, take accountability for change management, lead risk and issue monitoring, and conduct portfolio analysis to offer valuable insights and drive commercial revenue growth.
The core responsibilities of this role will be:
- Implementing commercial project governance structure, including comprehensive project documentation such as project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, change logs, and roadmaps.
- Develop presentations and dashboards that are highly visual and inform and influence decision making for a variety of stakeholders across the business.
- Act as the liaison between the Ancillary Revenue team and other departments to foster a culture of collaboration and information sharing.
- Provide detailed subject matter expert advice to commercial team stakeholders to setup projects for success.
- Monitor and track commercial projects and Portfolio progress and performance against set objectives and goals. Escalate potential issues and risks as required.
- Support Project and Product Manager’s delivery of at-risk projects.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status to key stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in project management or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination or project management roles in a similar industry
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Positive attitude towards change, feedback and improvement opportunities.
- Experience in creating and leading new business development initiatives and activities
- Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment managing internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines, with a proven track record of balancing priorities
- Well-developed numerical, analytical and computer skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office software as well as ability to learn Jetstar standard software packages.
