Our client, a leading Renewable Energy development and investment firm specialising in Renewable Energy and sustainable investments, is seeking a Project & Portfolio Development Manager to join their team.
As a Project & Portfolio Development Manager, you will play a vital role in the evaluation, development, and management of Renewable Energy investments.
You will be responsible for identifying new investment opportunities, developing growth strategies, managing relationships with stakeholders and partners, analysing market trends, providing insights and recommendations to inform investment decisions, and overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Our client is committed to investing in a wide range of Renewable Energy Projects, including wind, solar, hydro, and energy storage. As the Project & Portfolio Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of these projects, with a focus on driving innovation and creating value for stakeholders.
Key responsibilities of the Project & Portfolio Development Manager include:

• Leading the evaluation and management of Renewable Energy investments, including conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis
• Identifying new investment opportunities and developing growth strategies, including market analysis and competitor research
• Managing relationships with stakeholders and partners in the Renewable Energy industry, including negotiating contracts and resolving issues
• Analysing market trends and providing insights and recommendations to inform investment decisions, including identifying emerging technologies and regulatory changes
• Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, including working closely with project managers to ensure successful project execution
• Developing and implementing project management processes, tools, and best practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
• Supporting the development of fundraising materials and presenting investment opportunities to internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring and reporting on project performance, including preparing regular status reports and identifying and addressing project risks and issues

To be considered for the role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy investment and development, including experience managing Renewable Energy Projects from inception to completion
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including experience with financial analysis and project valuation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team, including experience working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, including experience developing and implementing project management processes, tools, and best practices
• Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact in the world, including experience working in a mission-driven organisation
