About the role This Project Coordinator will be embedded amongst our Defence community supporting all their ICT requirements to enable them to protect Australia’s interest. Fujitsu in Australia has a long history of delivering, supporting and maintaining systems for the Australian Defence Force across Army, Navy and Air Force. The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator will be to coordinate the delivery of Desktop PC & Hardware Rollout project, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. In this role you may alternatively be responsible for the delivery of a work package(s) within a more complex Project or Program under the governance of a Project or Program Manager.
To ensure that Project Services are successful in delivering the customer outcome as specified and within the timeframes agreed.
To request and coordinate technical resources in the delivery of Desktop & Audio-Visual Services
Reporting and documentation as required, updating of various systems and tools as required.
Coordinates the delivery of the work packages or project stages in partnership with the customer to ensure acceptance, closedown and handover to service.
Operates to Fujitsu and Defence working practices ensuring compliance with the relevant policies.
Report to the Project or Regional Manager through Highlight and Status Reports.
Manages the risks associated with the deliverables of the project or work package.
Builds and manages the relationship with key stakeholders (customer, subcontractors and Fujitsu) at project level.
About you
Desktop PC & Hardware rollout experience highly regarded
1-year or more experience working on Projects and 6 months working as a Project Coordinator or customer service
Knowledge of the Defence environment.
Knowledge of Deskside projects
Proactive and organised
Examples of responsibilities:
Assistance in reporting – internal and external deployment status
Identification and collation of risks and issues
Coordination of onsite team – access and logistics support and arrangement
‘First point of contact’ for on site and sub-contracted team members
Customer interface – confident in stakeholder engagement (Kiosk)
Collation of deployment data and artefacts
Must hold current or reinstatable AGSVA Baseline or higher clearance!!
