Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our clients Construction Project Management team.
The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, profitable, and timely management of projects, supporting both on-site activities and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Site Manager with site safety, inductions, and defect management.
- Manage subcontractor relationships and monitor work quality.
- Maintain a culture of high-performing teams and positive client relationships.
- Support Project Manager in subcontract negotiations, invoicing, and project documentation.
- Contribute to cash flow management and sales generation efforts.
- Update project progress using our project delivery system.
- Degree/diploma in a building-related field or equivalent experience, Construction Management and Economics degree preferable.
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role with a head contractor or fitout contractor either in a Project Coordinator / CA / Cadet role.
- Understanding of contemporary building practices and contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and construction management software.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
