About Us
Our client is one of the world leading precision component manufacturers for Defence, Aerospace, Medical, Electronics and Commercial Engineering sectors. They are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team in Adelaide.
About the role:
- Ensure that projects are effectively and efficiently delivered by clearly defining, initiating, managing, and completing contracts, while maintaining open communication with all stakeholders, both within and outside the company. Aim to deliver projects in full, on time, every time.
- Manage the contract review process for assigned projects.
- Create sales orders using the ERP system.
- Establish and update project schedules, coordinating with the Operations Manager and Master Scheduler.
- Assist in Business Development by preparing quotations with competitive terms and conditions.
- Generate and distribute job cards for production.
- Communicate with customers regarding quality, product specifications, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures, conducting all work in accordance with the WHS Management System.
Skills and Experience:
- Holds a degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical trade certification
- Additional qualifications in project management will be advantageous
- Experience in mechanical and manufacturing fields, including a strong grasp of materials science.
- Ability to interpret technical data accurately in alignment with project requirements.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with bid process procedures.
- Thorough understanding of quality system standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with preference for experience in MRP/ERP batch manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
