Project Coordinator
Summary
The Project Coordinator reports to the Head of Product Operations and is responsible for the project management tasks assigned for implementation projects. The Project Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting Project Managers with successfully delivering implementation projects and key account projects. The primary goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and that projects are delivered within the designated timeframe and scope.
About Us
EdSmart is an education administration platform that digitises and automates various school processes. It makes running a school easier for parents, teachers, administrators and students. We are contracted to 1,200 schools in eight countries, including all state schools in South Australia and multiple Catholic dioceses.
Our loyal and diverse team are committed to building a great product and making the lives of our school customers run smoother and better. The position is predominantly remote, with some on-site days working with our Adelaide based customers.

Project Support:
Assist in planning, executing, and finalising projects according to agreed project scope timelines and within budget.
Improve Efficiency:
By handling administrative and operational tasks, Project Coordinators free up Project Managers to focus on the project's strategic and account management aspects.
Ensure Timely Delivery:
Project Coordinators play a key role in tracking project timelines and milestones. Keeping the project on schedule contributes significantly to timely delivery, which is essential for customer satisfaction and business success.
Risk Mitigation:
Project Coordinators help identify potential risks and issues early in the project, allowing for timely intervention and mitigation strategies.
Customer Satisfaction:
The Project Coordinator’s role is instrumental in meeting customer requirements. By maintaining close communication with clients and ensuring their needs are addressed, they play a direct role in achieving customer satisfaction.
Quality Assurance:
Project Coordinators help maintain quality standards throughout the project by overseeing various processes and ensuring adherence to the project’s scope and requirements.
Communication and Support:
Project Coordinators act as a point of contact for project-related queries. They need to effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders promptly and clearly.
Documentation and Reporting:
The Project Coordinator maintains project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports. They may also assist in preparing presentations and other materials for project-related meetings.

Skills & Experience:
- University qualifications or equivalent preferred
- Experience in project delivery for SaaS highly desirable
- Proven ability to follow instructions and meet deadline
- High degree of computer literacy is essential, preferably MacOS.
