About the role:
We are seeking a fit and active team player to join our growing and dynamic industry. Reporting directly to the Planning and Procurement Manager, this role holds responsibility for coordinating production and purchasing activities, management and monitoring of inventory, coordinate receiving and shipment of goods and providing general logistics support.
Role Responsibilities:
- Compile, validate and report on supply availability to internal stakeholders.
- Product order planning and raising purchase orders.
- Coordinating the raising and handling of import permits with administrator.
- Coordinate logistics resources according to availabilities and requirements.
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments.
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Work with the production team to coordinate outsource partnerships for volume parts during peak production.
- Understand and implement GMP and Quality objectives ensuring that they are communicated to staff as per company Quality policy.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximise process efficiencies.
About You:
- Diploma or Degree Qualified in related field.
- 2-3 years experience in purchasing, manufacturing, retail / FMCG or logistics environment.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Able to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with CRM, ERP, PDM and BI platforms an asset
