As the Project Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to strategically plan and execute renewable energy projects from inception to pre-construction phases. This pivotal role requires a keen understanding of Project Development, stakeholder management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of renewable energy projects, emphasizing the pre-construction phase for optimal Project Development.
• Conduct thorough site assessments, feasibility studies, and due diligence to identify ideal project locations.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including engineers, environmental specialists, and legal experts, to navigate and overcome Project Development challenges.
• Manage crucial relationships with stakeholders, such as local authorities, landowners, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate project approvals.
• Negotiate essential agreements, including land leases and easements, crucial for the successful development of renewable energy projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and contribute to the overall project roadmap and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in renewable energy Project Development, with a specific focus on pre-construction phases.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory processes, environmental impact assessments, and permitting requirements within the Australian context.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
