About the role:
As a Project Engineer you will play a crucial role in providing technical and commercial support to current and future projects in the upstream gas networks sector. You will ensure that work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards, drawings, and specifications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading design studies to identify and select the most cost-effective options for construction of upstream gas networks.
- Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams to understand engineering constraints and commercial priorities.
- Participating in design reviews.
- Managing subcontractors, including field and office-based teams.
- Preparing project documents and site-specific management plans.
- Preparing schedules and "look ahead" plans.
- Obtaining quotations for the supply of materials or subcontractors.
About you:
We are looking for candidates who can bring the following:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in the design and/or construction of upstream gas gathering networks.
- Intermediate skill in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project (desired).
- Intermediate skill in CAD software (e.g., 12D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar) (desired).
- Intermediate to high skill in Microsoft Excel.
- Must have eligible Australian working rights.
- High level of attention to detail.
- High level of literacy and numeracy.
- Experience in managing subcontractors (desired).
