In this role, you'll:
Work as part of the Technical & Assurance Network Systems team in our Infrastructure & Place division, supporting and contributing to the delivery of the Digital Systems Program.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development of the system safety case and safety argument for the project.
- Supporting the preparation and undertaking of system safety hazard identification and analysis workshops.
- Preparing for Configuration Management and Network Assurance gate submissions.
- Providing support for the design, construction and testing integration of the new trackside and train control systems within the Sydney Trains railway network.
- Following and applying key governance and management processes to ensure that the operational goals and business requirements are successfully delivered.
- Provide advice for the resolution of technical-related problems, implementing lessons learned from other projects.
- Manage any scope and engineering changes, implementing the change management process and advising on performance, costs and time impacts for the programme.
About You
You are a self-motivated and driven individual with a tertiary qualification in Engineering (e.g. Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Software, Mechatronics or similar discipline).
You have familiarity and experience with railway safety systems (e.g. signalling, train control, rollingstock, telecommunications).
You have a working knowledge of undertaking system safety hazard identification, assessment and analysis activities.
