Project Engineer

Aquatec Maxcon is Australia's leading provider of water and wastewater treatment technologies  with offices in QLD, NSW, VIC and SA.
We now have a challenging and exciting role for a talented Project Engineer to join our Australian operations based in Melbourne. As a part of the Aquatec Maxcon team, you'll join a group of passionate professionals who work safely, and responsibly to deliver world class solutions.
Using your well-developed project management skills you will lead the delivery of projects from conceptual design through to construction and commissioning. You will be able to harness both internal and external teams to deliver 'on-time' and to client's expectations, a key focus will be achieving budget control and reporting while meeting EHQ & S standards and requirements.  Projects are typically $2 million - $10million in size and in the areas of wastewater, disinfection, water reuse, process water and drinking water
You will bring to the role

• Graduate qualifications and experience in process/mechanical construction with multi-faceted projects.
• A proven track record in project management  with a leading main contractor
• Ideally previous experience working with water treatment projects and government instrumentalities will be well regarded. 
• Strong awareness of commercial and contract matters and knowledge of Australian standard contracts and requirements
• Skills in developing and maintaining and working in collaborative high performance teams
• An ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

The role is based in Preston and will require periods of site work
