The position of Project Environment Manager sits on this long-term project with future opportunities available within the wider McConnell Dowell business. This position will work on a 2:1 roster with site uplift applicable.
As the Environment Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Management of an onsite team of environmental professionals, and external consultants.
- Promote, educate and ensure all staff is aware of, and utilise Environmental systems.
- Undertake and maintain an environmental monitoring, inspection and audit program in accordance with project requirements.
- Prepare monthly management reports including reporting against Project Performance indicators and identified areas for improvement.
- Ensure MCD Corporate and Project ESG KPIs are achieved. In conjunction with Group Environment and Sustainability Manager, ensure all site personnel receive training relevant to their role.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant environmental field.
- Experience in investigating and reporting environmental incidents.
- Operational experience in the application of environmental management principles in the Pipeline construction industry.
- Competent user of in-house software, with working knowledge of wider applications
- Experience in investigating and reporting environmental incidents.
