About the Role:
As a Project Financial Accountant, you'll be at the forefront of financial management, providing expert analysis and advice, developing financial policies, and overseeing Project Financial accounting and reporting across Office of Strategic Lands (OSL). Your role will involve leading financial reporting processes, assisting in budget development and monitoring, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
About You:
- You have a proven track record in financial reporting and analysis, ideally in a government or large organization.
- Your expertise in financial management legislation, accounting standards, and Treasury guidelines sets you apart.
- You are experienced with WBS elements and Capital reporting
- With your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you can build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
- A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance, coupled with membership in a recognized professional accounting body, is essential.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant experience and tertiary qualification and eligibility for membership of a recognised professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in a senior financial accounting role.
