The Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated Project Manager to join our Projects Team for a variety of mine-site projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain project schedule, utilizing Microsoft Project
- Manage project resources
- Ensure all quality, environmental, safety, and other regulatory requirements of the project are fulfilled
- Track costs and manage budget allocation, including providing input into costings for further works
- Full lifecycle management of projects up to $500k from estimation, planning , execution to completion.
- Provide leadership and support to the Project Team
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Provide updates/reports to clients as required
- Maintain project documentation and complete project close-out
- Planning and allocation of resources
- Work with Senior management to achieve strategic objectives
Key Requirements:
- Qualification in Project Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (highly regarded)
- Minimum 5 years’ project management experience
- Estimating experience necessary
- Strong background in the construction/mining industry
- Supervisory qualifications (S1, S2, S3 & G2)
- Standard 11 Surface Generic Mining Induction (or ability to obtain)
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card) (or ability to obtain)
- Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
- Driver’s Licence
