NEPEAN Conveyors NSW is an innovative provider of fully engineered turnkey conveying and materials handling solutions, from concept to commissioning for some of the world's largest mining companies. Established in 1985, we manufacture and market high powered bulk materials handling conveyor systems and components as well as provide on-site installation, maintenance, and relocation of conveyor installations.
Our Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth, our NEPEAN Conveyors team are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Gulgong, NSW. Daily duties will include however are not limited to.
- Successful delivery of projects in terms of time and cost objectives.
- Develop an effective Project Execution Plan for each project.
- Develop and implement detailed plans and procedures for assigned projects.
- Plan and control quality.
- Monitor and control the schedule, budget.
- Liaise with design engineers, technicians, site supervisors, commission engineers and contractors as required on a project-by-project basis.
- Liaise with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and planning authorities, as appropriate.
- Supervise fabrication, procurement, installation, and construction work and ensure efficient standards of workmanship and work schedules are maintained.
- Record and report on project progress at regular intervals
- Manage the monitoring of quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material, check working drawings, construction and specifications against site plans and conditions and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary.
The Right Person
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a heavy manufacturing industry.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Related qualifications in Project Management
- A bachelor’s degree or Diploma of Engineering
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills
- Experience in problem-solving and working within a collaborative environment.
