About the role and where you will be working:

This role provides professional project management in leading the Roster to Payroll process improvement project.

Establishing project structures and applying contemporary project management methodologies to ensure the delivery of the Roster to Payroll process project on time, to its objectives and within budget.

This position is a contract role for 6 months and located at our central office in Rivervale which offers flexibility to work from home 1 or 2 days per week.

We’ll also be asking you to:

  • To lead the implementation of the Roster to payroll improvement project by applying contemporary and appropriate project management methodologies.
  • To develop clear project Management Plan, establishing Project Steering Committee and working teams and implementing clear project reporting of progress, budget, issues and risks.
  • Establish and facilitate regular project delivery working groups with key project stakeholders to deliver key activities and milestones as required.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the engagement of project contractors, suppliers and other third parties, ensuring the timely delivery of project deliverables, within approved budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a project risk register, escalating risks as they are identified and introduce risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of project plans, finances and performance to budget.
  • Assist in the implementation of comprehensive Change Management processes to ensure the success of project, including process redesign, communication and end user training.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

  • At least 5 years’ experience and proficiency in managing transformational projects and leading project team in their successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Experienced in efficiently apply project management methodologies (Prince2 / PMI).
  • Proven experience in leading large scale project implementations, preferably HRMIS/Workforce management software projects
  • Ability to build productive relationships with key stakeholders and provide guidance and leadership to project working groups, dealing with conflict resolution and escalations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and the ability to produce comprehensive and accurate project documentation. Highly skilled and experienced in preparing reports, presentations and updates
  • Exposure to work planning and cost evaluation, tracking and record keeping concepts.
