Etched specialises in Facade and Cladding systems, fit outs and custom metalworks.
With a strong pipline of projects across multiple states, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager with trade (specifically cladding, architectural metal, roofing, windows, shopfitting) and/or AutoCAD experience to work out of our Pakenham premises.
The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Project Manager is responsible for strategically managing various aspects of Etched's projects from contract award through to execution and close-out.
The role effectively manages people and processes to deliver the projects on time, within budget, and with the desired outcomes aligned to the company's objectives.
This role is a great opportunity to closely work with a dynamic team while applying technical construction skills to contribute to the engineering and design solutions and best practice. The role requires building a collaborative relationship internally and externally with various key stakeholders.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Demonstrating excellent time and people management skills.
- Manage cost control, forecasting, project reporting and contract management.
- Lead and manage stakeholders and contractors (internal & external) through effective and clear communication.
- Have problem solving and innovative approach and be able to operate as an individual and a team player
- Have strong commitment to WHS and environmental standards and champion a safety focused approach to work
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Generate detailed construction schedules and cost/cash flow management

Ideally you will have a trade qualified background and/or experience with cladding projects.
- Proven ability and experience in the cladding construction in the commercial industry, working across several projects at one time.
- AutoCAD ability is preferred.
- Have strong financial acumen.
- A good understanding of construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques specific to cladding and fit out projects
- Strong communication skills, relationship building and a good team player.
- Can do attitude and strong organisational sense
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong work ethic – you set the tone for those around you
