The Role:
The Project Manager will play an integral role within the business, across the sales and hire departments, by coordinating and overseeing projects involving personnel and material hoists, mast climbers, monorails, wire rope hoists, and swing stages.
With a focus on leading the engineering, design, and drafting team, the Project Manager will ensure all technical outputs align with client demands and regulatory standards.
This role will have six direct reports and be responsible for strengthening client trust and confidence through the execution of carefully planned and delivered projects.
What are we looking for?
In order to be successful in the role, you will require exceptional communication skills, a style that fosters loyalty and trust from staff and clients alike.
You will also require a solid track record as a Project Manager delivering projects in the construction space. This is a highly specialized area within the industry, and in light of that, you will also require experience overseeing projects that utilise hoists, mast climbers, monorails, wire rope hoists, swing stages, and other auxiliary equipment.
Also required:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar field;
- Good IT proficiency, particularly in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Suite of Products
- Driver's License and White Card
- A strong grasp of both mechanical and electrical systems pertinent to plant hire machinery would be beneficial.
