Flexible hybrid/in office environmentThis large bank is working through an HR delivery and require a business-facing Project Manager to deliver on a People & Culture regulatory/compliance program. This Project Manager would be supporting different workstreams in Payroll governance, internal and external review, and HRIS implementation.About the roleAs the Project Manager you will be responsible for supporting team members within different streams (from both BAU and projects), taking part in scheduling, mapping activities, etc. You will be engaging with an impressive range of senior stakeholders in an agile delivery environment. Specifically supporting and working with the Head of Employee Relations and/or Head of Payroll Governance throughout the project.The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of HR processes around banking, excellent core Project Management skills, a minimum of 5 years of experience in large corporate environments, and an emphasis on excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.What you will do
- Collaborate with other team members for a successful delivery
- Standard project management activities
- Deal well with ambiguity and making lots of adjustments
- Do the weekly deliverables (Jira, granular scheduling for the specific programs of work)
- Work with stakeholders in Tech, Payroll, HR, and Risk
- Provide and share expertise throughout the team with HR specific knowledge.
Strong experience with Employee Relations and Industrial Relations.
Demonstrated experience establishing project plans with data points illustrating outcomes achieved.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead through influence rather than control.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
