FinXL IT Professional Services is a leading IT services organisation providing a broad range of services to assist large Australian enterprises and Government departments to deliver IT projects.
We are currently looking for multiple Project Managers with Telecommunications experience to join our team at a highly regarded organisation.
The Project Managers will play a crucial role in identifying and executing strategies to enhance profitability, increase productivity and overall business performance. Experience working across major transformation projects (business improvement, change management, cost management projects) is favourable. There will be a focus on change and process improvement.
The key domains are Growth, Cost Optimisation and Customer Experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Product Ownership: Take ownership of the cost/growth/customer experience optimisation strategy, prioritise cost reduction and operational efficiency levers.
You will help develop a roadmap that outlines the optimisation initiatives, dependencies and timelines ensuring the roadmap considers the interconnectedness of different initiatives and identifies any dependencies/constraints.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in the planning process and identify areas of value and alignment to the broader project vision & strategy. Define the scope, business case and sponsoring the prioritisation of the program.
- Stakeholder Management and Governance: Ongoing executive influence for necessary visibility and support for success, establishing governance forums and management approaches to maintain momentum.
- Initiative Establishment & Design: Establish the enablement model around cost reduction and efficiency enhancements. This involves conducting cost analysis, process evaluations and implementing initiatives.
Skills & experience required:
- Proven experience in a hands-on Project/Portfolio Management role, leading major change initiatives in a complex technology environment.
- Telecommunications industry experience required.
- Track record of delivering real value through new capabilities, and technology at scale.
- Project Management, Change Management, Risk & Issue Management, Project Scheduling experience.
- Stakeholder management and collaboration skills, anticipating changing needs and identifying future resource and business requirements.
- Strong commerciality and financial decision making.
- Can build relationships across an organisation quickly to align and leverage in delivering accountabilities.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and best practice Project Management principles, process, delivery and reporting.
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the position's requirements, or equivalent experience.
