About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager Transformation, you will be a part of a dynamic group of Project Managers specialising in Operational Transformation. You will play a crucial role in driving key projects that align with Virgin Australia’s long-term operational and financial objectives.
Working closely with Program Managers, Initiative Owners, Initiative Leads, Transformation Managers, and Operations Leaders, you will lead the tactical delivery of projects across Operations, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively. In addition, you will also interface with People Business Partners (HR), consultants, and others working across Operations and the broader enterprise.
Your focus is on Project Managing the Operations transformation to become a more economical, commercial and, highly productive engaging division through the successful delivery of the transformational three-year plan.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- 5+ years’ experience in managing cost optimisation, offshoring and/or automation
- Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- Exceptional stakeholder, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to build trusting, effective on-going business. relationships with diverse groups of people across the organization.
- Strong and flexible stakeholder management skills and engagement style
- Experience using Power BI, MS Excel or other relevant data analytical software suite skills.
- Advanced ability to interpret complex data, and draw, visualise and present recommendations to stakeholder groups.
