As Australia's largest manufacturer of pharmaceutical products, our client is delivering a significant amount of capital projects across their manufacturing facilities.
They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Fill & Finish team on an initial 12 month contract.
Reporting into the Project Delivery Lead, the Project Manager will be responsible for oversight of specific work packages on the manufacturing facility in the northern suburbs. The individual will be responsible for managing work packages that are equipment-based on the project, managing new equipment coming in, seeking the person to take responsibility for the items and see through and manage their implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage equipment-based work packages
- Oversee testing, delivery, commission, qualification of items like parts washers, other ancillary items around the fill & finish line.
- Manage the process all the way through the project delivery phases
About You:
- Engineering qualifications (chemical, process or mechanical engineer)
- 5-10 yrs experience in industry in a similar role (pharma or biotech (similar industries would be highly regarded, e.g food and beverage, dairy)
- Any experience with aseptic processing & filling machines will be highly regarded
- Great communication skills are a must
