We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager to join the Property Management team. You will work to manage a range of projects which include office and site renovations, new build and technical related, located across Sydney to achieve complex capital projects and minor refurbishment works.
The Project Manager – Minor Works will be responsible for the planning, procurement and execution of a variety of capital projects across the Anglicare portfolio. The Project Manager – Minor Capital will be tasked to undertake key functions within a project such scope, timeline management, customer communications and compliance documentation.
The Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact for any issues between sites and contractors.
You will join a collaborative, supportive and high performing team, and provide support, advice, mentoring, knowledge sharing and care for the Property team members.
Based at Norwest the position will be required travel across Sydney from the Blue Mountains, to Northern Beaches and South Coast to Nowra.
About you,
Strong project management experience on building projects
Strong stakeholder management experience (internal and external) with an ability to manage competing demands
Ability to deliver to time, cost, quality and scope
Experience on infrastructure and/or urban renewal projects
An understanding / awareness of property matters would be beneficial but not a requirement
A self-starter attitude, be a team player and problem solver with a can-do attitude and be able to work independently
Experience or understanding of working under a matrix structure
Highly advanced communication skills
Knowledge of relevant property and planning legislation.
You will have a trade technical background (electrical, building), HVAC , within the Building sector, with a track record of experience and success in managing consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests.
