Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with solid design experience to join our renowned QLD Rail team at WSP.

Strategically important to our future growth and impact, we are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our business - We are after someone who is confident in engaging with and leading multi-disciplinary teams, strives to achieve successful outcomes on major projects, and who can build relationships not only internally but also within the industry.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a positive, ‘take-the-initiative’ attitude, and be able to work with and influence a range of senior-level stakeholders and leaders both internally and externally.
Whilst QLD projects are our focus, we are a national business model, and you will also have the opportunity to work on both local and interstate projects and for a broad range of government and private sector clients.
Transport & Infrastructure
Our Transport and Infrastructure team leverages the latest technology and a culture of innovation across the planning, design, and management disciplines to deliver connectivity, mobility, and resiliency to Australian communities.
Our recent projects include Cross River Rail and other supporting projects (QLD), as well as Inland Rail (Nationally), and Southern Program Alliance (VIC)
About you:
Have proven experience in the leadership of the delivery of large Rail projects on either delivery or client-side roles (or both).
Be a qualified Engineer or equivalent
Have a proven ability to develop and expand client networks, and engage and influence stakeholders and a senior level
Hold strong communication skills - both verbal and written including strong report writing skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships internally but also within the industry
Be capable and willing to mentor junior personnel and develop internal capability
Hold a sound understanding of commercial and generally project management principles
