Our Benalla manufacturing site is located in regional Victoria, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne’s CBD. Close to ski fields, wine regions, hiking trails, rivers, and campgrounds, there is plenty to see and do. For over 40 years we have held operations at this site, producing transformers and kiosks to service a large domestic market. Based at our plant in Benalla, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our high-performing team and deliver projects from handover to final acceptance ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will manage all aspects of project execution including customer change requests, working in consultation with the FO, and seeking technical clarification from engineering as required. You will also ensure that all projects are fully documented before closing and that the team support any ongoing discussion during commissioning taking feedback on challenges, ensure relevant feedback is recorded
Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manage the financial, technical and risk aspects of projects
- Manage the FAT process in close collaboration with manufacturing
- Maintain a high level of timely, appropriate and proactive communication with customers, FO, and solutions teams
- Ensure safety is a priority in all projects
- Ensure that BU is kept up to date with any reportable equipment modifications or specification non conformances
About You
You are a highly driven individual seeking to work with a value-based organisation whose solutions are leading edge. In addition, you possess the following relevant skills and attributes
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. CPP Trained is advantageous
- Experience in High ETO applications of LV / MV Switchgear or Transformers in Utility/O&G/MMM environment
- Experience in project management, tendering or project engineering an advantage.
- Demonstrated team work, result orientation, structured approach.
- Understanding of CPP process and risk mitigation.
- Able to present project reporting clearly and accurately.
