About the Role
Working within the Water Infrastructure Business Unit, the Project Manager is required to support and oversee the delivery of all elements of our projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This role will have a significant level of autonomy and will require the successful applicant to:
- Build, develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Train, develop and mentor your team to achieve a high-performance culture
- Take part in short and long term strategic planning and execution
- Oversee and manage project delivery from tender to handover, ensuring high quality standard at every project milestone.
- Manage project financial performance and cost forecasting
- Drive JPR’s safety culture within your team
About You
- Present excellent communication skills to enable you to mesh with a highly motivated and energetic Water Infrastructure Team
- Highly proficient in time management and prioritising tasks
- Have the ability to solve complex problems in an everchanging environment
- Have a positive attitude and demonstrate a strong desire for goal achievement
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal design/engineering teams to deliver favourable outcomes
- Excellent attention to detail with proven track record in driving a high quality standard in all aspects of project delivery.
- Ability to estimate complex electrical installations
- Quick to learn and adapt to JPR’s policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Queensland Electrical Work Licence
- Construction Industry White Card
- Class C Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management (highly regarded but not essential)
- Minimum 5 year + post trade qualification with Project Management/Supervisory experience preferred
