Financial Operations

This role involves providing both training and support to users of the University's financial corporate applications. The incumbent is responsible for the development and delivery of training programs and relevant training materials.

The ideal applicant will have a deep understanding of relevant systems, such as Ci Anywhere, and demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting skills, working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.

Effective communication is key for success in this role, given the high volume of tasks with competing priorities. Our primary focus is on maintaining quality client service amid these demands.

Support requirements of the role:

  • Manage and analyse Help Desk requests to identify system issues and training needs, ensuring procedures are up to date.
  • Provide technical support, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving user issues as necessary.
  • Aid in testing Financial System upgrades, analysing results, and updating relevant documents as needed.
Training requirement of the role:
  • Design, refine and deliver training programs in various formats.
  • Interpret software documentation, business processes and user needs to design appropriate training programs.
  • Maintain and analyse training records for continuous improvement and management reporting.
  • Assess and gather user feedback to evaluate service quality and relevance, aiming for ongoing improvement in service delivery.
