Radiant Enterprise (NSW) Pty. Ltd, located in Ingleburn NSW, is a manufacturer of metal door frames, timber solid core doors, lightweight engineered doors, fire rated doors, lead lined doors, acoustic doors and metal clad doors. Radiant is also a supplier of door hardware and offers door installation services. Radiant aims to be the leading manufacturer of custom doors and frames to commercial construction firms in the New South Wales region.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible to plan, schedule and expedite operations to achieve project goals and timeframes on contracted projects. The role will vary from day to day and will include but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and subcontractors is at the forefront of all business decisions and reflects the Radiant Enterprise values.
- Plan and establish overall objectives with consideration given to existing workload, orders, delivery schedules, sales, and production forecasts.
- Coordinate schedules by communicating with other departments to avoid costly delays, customer satisfaction and complaints.
- Forecast project demand to enable the factory to align its capacity.
- Provide interpretations of contracts, organise or process correspondence in a timely manner with contracted customers with a view to execute contractual obligations.
- Negotiate program and delivery requirements in line with contractual lead time commitments.
- Produce monthly progress claims for contracted projects by the due date.
- Manage contractual variations, surcharges and pricing movements.
- Identify and investigate growth areas and undertake specialist projects when required.
- Produce weekly and monthly project progress reports for the business.
- Submit tender proposals to key projects in conjunction with the General Manager.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the production of door frames or related products.
- Direct experience in managing projects in the commercial building industry.
- Strong business acumen and a track record of successfully driving business growth and profitability.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate employees and subcontractors.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Familiarity with public and private construction tendering processes.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
