Opportunity
An excellent chance for a Project Manager to spearhead, direct and drive the entire project team, while also supporting the sales process by achieving project deliverables, including contractual and business objectives and ensuring satisfaction and QDRC.
The company's past exposure and support in these industrial projects resulted in high value project sales and this is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to take accountability for the planning, directing, and execution of local and/or global projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects of medium-high complexity, multiple sub-projects and present project status & updates to customer and company managers.
- Coordinate with the accountable leaders and team to be responsive to customers, project schedule, and deliverables.
- Drive risk management process, plan, review & improve project costs and schedule performance to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with Supplier Manager as main point of contact, assure supplier development project performance, inventory transition planning, contractual alignment.
- Collaborate with the Engineering department & COE to assure security of supply, high quality, competitively priced components and to manage project PLC process & project gate reviews.
- Participate in strategic planning/profit planning processes and in enterprise trade-offs between projects.
Selection Criteria
It is essential to be process and detail oriented, have the ability to work under time and resource pressure, while finding solutions and solving problems. The successful candidate will be customer focused and organised, with independent work ethic and effective leadership skills, as well as:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in Project Management & Quality/ Sourcing/ Manufacturing
- Sigma Green Belt Certification (Quality Management)
- PMP Certificate (Project Management Professional)
- MS Office Suite, MS Project and Power BI will be highly regarded
- Ability to prepare technical, strategic information, presentations & written reports, offer recommendations & solutions, manage conflict and mitigate project risks, set priorities & define goals in the team.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing principles, business processes & systems, contract clauses, payments management, parts transition process and supplier relationship, commercial management and project variations.
- Knowledge & experience in the Manufacturing environment & parts transition processes and solid understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRPII) process.
