Seeking an experienced Project Officer to join a State Government organisation in Bunbury Your new company This state government department based near Bunbury town centre, are seeking an experienced Project Officer to provide support on a major economic development project. Your new role As the Project Officer, you will be responsible for providing extensive support to key stakeholders involved in the project, assisting with:
Undertaking research tasks to identify trends locally, nationally and internationally that may likely impact the projects activity
Coordinate and manage projects in terms of process, management and delivery
Provide assistance in managing commercial contracts and financial processes
Act as a key stakeholder for contractors, suppliers and stakeholders involved in the project
Support in developing and implementing communication strategies, programs and promotions regarding the project
Support the project managers with any adhoc tasks required to support project delivery
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered, you will have:
Previous experience as a Project Officer in a government team
A confident understanding of government policies and processes
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Eagerness to learn
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
