About the Business
Our Restrictive Practices Unit supports the disability sector, clients and families by providing legislative oversight and establishing a state NDIS Restrictive Practice Authorisation Scheme to provide greater protection and safeguards for NDIS participants with behavioural support plans.
Role Details
The Project Officer is a role within Inclusion, Supports and Safeguarding and is accountable to the Senior Authorising Officer for:
• Providing a proactive and responsive administration support function to enable successful outcomes across the team.
• Providing a range of administrative, project, business and communications activities which support the development and implementation of various policy and strategy initiatives - particularly restrictive practices.
• Contributing to the development, implementation, and operations of policy initiatives, service development, customer service and strategic projects.
• Contributing to timely policy advice for the Minister, Chief Executive, Executive Director, and other senior officers on a broad range of complex issues.
• Undertaking research, data collection and report writing.
Special Conditions
National Police Check required.
Role Status: Term up to 25/07/2025
Salary Range: $75,430-$79,070 (ASO4)
