About the Role:
The role of the AO4 Project Officer is to:
* Edit and proofread digital and print materials for accuracy, consistency and adherence to departmental style guides.
* Contribute to the development of quality assurance standards and the ongoing evaluation of editorial, proofreading and e-publishing services.
* Undertake operational tasks that support the delivery of departmental initiatives.
* Use effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks, liaise with stakeholders and meet deadlines while maintaining a high quality.
The ideal applicant will have:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint (essential).
* Experience (or ability to quickly learn) editing in Adobe Creative Suite and other publishing software.
* Good understanding of the requirements of editing educational materials.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team in a busy open-plan office environment.
* Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
