Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage an A04 Project Officer. This position is located in their busy Buderim QLD office for an initial contract until the 31/03/2024.
About the Position
In the role of Project Officer (Traffic Data), you will predominantly coordinate the engagement of contractors to perform traffic surveys for internal clients, which will require you to provide technical advice relating to location, safety and compliance. You will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to project managers and team members, which enhance the timely and effective delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate new traffic survey requests, including procurement processes
- Minor contract management
- Provide advice on accurate and quality survey requests and road data information
- Coordinating Microsoft Outlook email inboxes
- Spreadsheet and database maintenance
- Conducting the process of entering/maintenance of traffic data into corporate systems
- Producing traffic composition reports from corporate systems and software programs to both internal and external customers
- Attending infrequent site visits, appropriate PPE will be required and needs to be supplied by the Contractor/Supplier.
- Use of Microsoft Office, including Teams
- Willingness to learn new software programs and systems
