Three month casual opportunity to backfill a leave arrangement (hybrid working arrangements possible) commencing 22 April 2024
Casual rate of $51.35 per hour plus 11% superannuation
The Opportunity
You will provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Director and the Office of Research, including coordination of work flow demands, managing communication and acting as coordinator of Research marketing information and material. You will also assist with the research funding, legal and commercialisation teams.

You will:
be responsible for undertaking administrative duties in relation to the development of institutional responses to government agencies including liaising with key stakeholders, collating inputs from senior staff and drafting initial responses and communication material for internal and external stakeholders;
develop and implement effective project management plans, liaise with key staff and manage project budgets, reports and evaluations for strategic projects undertaken by the Office of Research; and
contribute to the development and implementation of planning, programs, projects, budget, staffing and quality assurance and improvement processes for the Office of Research.

You will possess:
a degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience in an administrative/project support position to a senior/executive manager;
the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures;
experience in project management, budgeting and planning processes;
sound written and analytical skills, including attention to detail and experience drafting and editing formal documents; and
well-developed research skills, including use of contemporary research tools and applications and the ability to analyse and interpret information critically.
