A compelling opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer to join the State-Wide Service Delivery team at the Department of Education.
In this position, you will be tasked with carrying out specialized project activities as necessary to fulfil the project's expected outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include executing and overseeing a project's operational plan and stages, which involves coordinating the efforts of various clients and team members aimed at accomplishing the project's objectives.

About the Role:
As the Project Support Officer, you will:
- Participate in, and undertake a designated project and organisational change activities.
- Resolve operational problems and assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, policies, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of departmental services.
- Assist in coordinating the implementation of policies, practices and procedures, relating to the project.
- Prepare reports and submissions on a range of specific departmental services and respond to related matters identified during the review process.
- Assist with the development and delivery of training for staff in the work unit and other departmental employees.
- Attend meetings with departmental officers to discuss, evaluate and revise systems and procedures.
- Assist in the dissemination of project information to departmental staff and members of the public.
The Project Officer reports to an officer designated as the Manager, Service Delivery The Project Officer has no permanent subordinate staff but works as a member of a team of multi skilled officers who each report to the manager on strategic matters pertaining to their particular field of activity.
