The Role:
Based in Springfield, Qld, this Project Officer position is part of the co-ordination team within the Mobile Threat Training Emitter System (MTTES) Program delivering Electronic Warfare training to the Australian Defence Force. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and coordination of program exercises, events and activities conducted in various locations around Australia
- Leading and delivering technical and business projects
- Preparation, management and presentation of program management artefacts in direct support of the Program Director.
- Limited domestic travel, including to very remote areas for up to a week at a time.
The Person:
- Outcome-focused with experience managing concurrent bodies of work.
- Ability to interpret intent and guidance, critically analyse requirements which may be partially defined, and develop a plan incorporating inputs from various internal and external stakeholders, including technical specialists.
- Ability to communicate with, and influence, people within and outside of work area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
- A university degree with a minimum of five years post graduate experience
- Experience in the preparation of project artefacts, reports and presentation material will be highly regarded
- Experience in planning large-scale activities involving the movement of people and equipment across large geographic areas is desirable.
