The Delivery Management section is responsible for end-to-end ICT project delivery with full oversight of the divisions program of work. Our project portfolio includes a range of ICT projects including networks, infrastructure, applications and more. We follow an Agile delivery approach in most cases, or a hybrid methodology where more appropriate.
We are seeking a Project Officer with prior experience in project support, who will assist Delivery Managers in the delivery of ICT projects. The Project Officer will work closely with Delivery Managers in all aspects of project development, coordination, reporting and administration.
Key duties include:
- Contributing to project planning, developing and maintaining project artifacts, identifying risks and issues, and proposing solutions.
- Monitoring and reporting on progress against project plans including regularly completing project status reports, and tracking of milestones, budgets and resourcing.
- Utilising project management tools to manage and track project delivery and resource utilisation.
- Leading the delivery of small, low-risk projects or activities under the guidance and direction of a Delivery Manager.
- Providing coordination and secretariat support for project board meetings and governance committees.
- Contributing to innovation, changes in workplace practices, and business improvement via the Delivery Management Centre of Excellence.

- Possess high level interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective and respectful relationships with stakeholders.

Relevant skills, knowledge, experience and/or qualifications:
- Experience in using Azure DevOps or Jira as an aide in project management.
- A qualification and/or relevant experience in project management is desirable.
- Agile certifications such as Certfied Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, SAFe etc are desirable.
Please note: Salaries in the department are provided through its Enterprise Agreement. Additional remuneration may also be provided through Individual Flexibility Arrangements (IFA). These IFAs can be negotiated prior to commencement.
