About the Regional Connectivity Program (RCP)
Under a major grant from the federal government's Regional Connectivity Program, Easyweb Digital aims to deploy advanced Wi-Fi systems to enhance broadband access in six Northern Territory communities. This initiative is designed to deliver robust, metro-like internet services and contribute significantly to social and economic benefits through digital inclusion.
Position Purpose
The Project Support Officer plays a crucial role in the successful execution of the RCP. This position involves supporting project management tasks, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving initiatives that improve broadband access in remote communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of project activities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and management systems.
- Support daily project operations alongside the Senior Project Manager.
- Liaise with stakeholders to align project deliverables with community and technical requirements.
Main Tasks
- Manage project schedules and timelines.
- Organise meeting materials and compile project reports.
- Track progress, prepare status reports, and manage administrative duties related to procurement and contracts.
Desired Qualities and Skills
- Strong organisational skills; proficient with Teams and Xero.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Jira Project Management tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
