About the Role
*This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2025* *Multiple positions*
We are looking for a dynamic Project Support Officer to join our team, providing essential support to the Commercial Delivery Team in the coordination of whole-of-government activities for state significant Precincts. As a crucial member of the team, you will contribute to the achievement of economic and social objectives for these Precincts, ensuring the seamless execution of projects. The role involves collaboration with a broader group of VPS staff and sits within the Precinct Delivery team, reporting to the Senior Project Officer. Position Outcomes / Accountabilities
Strategic Support – Under guidance, participated in the development of strategic initiatives within whole-of-government coordination activities for state significant Precincts.
Team Contribution – Worked cooperatively and collaboratively with team members, and has effectively coordinated works and duties within defined scopes as assigned by supervisor/s. project partners, government agencies, local councils and businesses.
Understanding of Processes – Understood the governance structures, systems and processes utilised within state significant Precincts.
Project Delivery – Ensured that work is delivered according to set timeframes, resulting in project outcomes being met.
Stakeholder Advice – Provided valuable advice to internal and external stakeholders on straight-forward matters. Any complex matters identified have been escalated to supervisor/s for advice and direction.

Qualifications and Experience
Desirable
Experience providing secretariat support for projects.
Experience in government writing styles, including preparing written briefs.
