Fuse Rcruitment is partnering with Bonney Energy to source a Property Development Manager to oversee and optimise their property portfolio across Victoria and Tasmania. The incumbent will be responsible for managing property and lease agreements, seeking, and implementing new sales and depot locations, and working with current and prospective landowners to negotiate purchase and lease agreements. This role is also accountable for the ongoing project support for existing and new locations and the management of contractors for construction and maintenance activities.As a Senior Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and manage a team consisting of a Project Coordinator and Maintenance Manager. Your role involves ensuring Bonney Energy's property agreements are managed according to financial and budget requirements, as well as working closely with various departments to achieve company objectives.Key Responsibilities:
- Property Management: Manage and optimise Bonney Energy's property portfolio, including working with landlords and ensuring compliance with property agreement obligations. Drive contract negotiations for lease or purchase agreements and achieve positive outcomes in line with business plans and budgets.
- Property Development: Oversee changes to existing property locations, coordinate new site implementation from property agreement negotiation to commissioning, and manage the master network plan for equipment replacements.
- Project Delivery: Accountable for the successful delivery of site projects on time, within budget, and to the required scope. Shared accountability for new site performance during the first year of operation.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Deliver all projects in compliance with Bonney's HSE policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Contractor Management: Manage the contractor portfolio for Bonney, including securing necessary contractors and working closely with them to ensure compliance with Bonney's policies and procedures.
- Financial Accountability: Own operational expense and capital expense budgets for the property profit centers, provide input to Opex and Capex budgeting processes, and manage the Property Department budget to achieve business plans.
- Communication and Consultation: Foster open communication and feedback among internal personnel and contractors, provide reports to the Board, and actively manage property-related agreements.
- Business Development: Recommend and advise on business development and expansion opportunities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Customer Relations: Build strong business partnerships with current and future customers, promoting the business and its products while maintaining effective customer relations.
- Tertiary qualification in Property, Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management, Sales, or Property-related roles.
- Extensive experience in contract negotiation and management, with a focus on strategic planning and implementation.
- Extensive knowledge of Lease agreements
- Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and cost management experience.
- Proven ability to deliver multi-disciplinary projects and knowledge of planning and regulatory requirements for construction projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong management and leadership abilities, and analytical problem-solving skills.
