The Property Finance Analyst plays a vital role in promoting optimal system practices within Aruma's property department. As a member of our Property Team, they actively collaborate with various teams to ensure the seamless integration of Urbanise (Facilities & Asset Management System) and FinOps (D365 Finance System).
This position involves establishing and supporting a high-performance property function by monitoring performance, offering actionable insights, and fostering accountability in various team and organisational processes.
A day in the life of the Property Finance Analyst...
- Create and update financial reconciliation using diverse data sources to assess vendor payment status and resolve issues.
- Maintain a corrective action tracking report, involving process and system amendments across multiple functions.
- Challenge Fin-Ops finance system mechanics to resolve payment issues, leveraging specialist finance and project support when needed.
- Suggest "metrics that matter" to ensure smooth Business as Usual (BAU) processes and reduce reactive issue correction.
- Collaborate with the Property Team to assess the feasibility of process changes from an operational and 3rd Party vendor perspective.
- Demonstrate expertise in end-to-end system processes, assess stakeholder input, and recommend the best path forward for Aruma and its 3rd party vendors.
- Investigate Urbanise system configuration for efficient front-end configuration and seamless finance integration.
- Provide support to the Head of Property Performance on any necessary activities.
What you need to be successful in this role…
- 5+ Years background in a complex finance environment, covering exposure to multiple finance disciplines, with an awareness of the AP function.
- Accounting qualification or part qualified, working towards.
- Experience of multi system processes, spanning various functions.
- Highly organised and outcome focused.
- Confident and resilient personality, able to drive other individuals to deliver.
- Proactive and autonomous problem solver.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders and possess moderate business acumen to make business savvy recommendations.
- Ability to see the bigger picture and understand end to end business processes, not just the financial element.
- A customer centric approach, responsive to ad-hoc requests
- A willingness to learn and grow, develop new skills and to facilitate a team culture of responsiveness and flexibility.
- Excellent working with Microsoft 365, in particular excel.
