Essential requirements:
- The ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current drivers licence
- Be a strong and reliable team player with willingness to learn and contribute
- Strong time management skills
*Property Management or Administration experience is preferred but not required.
*Applicants will need to hold or be willing to obtain a class 2 Real Estate.
The Roles:
Property Officer
A real estate property officer, plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing properties on behalf of landlords or property owners. The primary responsibilities typically include:
- Conducting Open Home Inspections: Showcase properties to potential tenants with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Scheduling and Conducting Routine Inspections: Ensure properties are well-maintained and in compliance with regulations through regular inspections.
- Completing Ingoing Condition Reports: Document the properties condition with detailed written reports and supporting photographs creating comprehensive reports for new tenancies to establish baseline property conditions.
- Preparing Tenancy Documentation: Facilitate smooth transitions for new tenants by preparing necessary documentation and files.
- Coordinating Maintenance: Enter maintenance requests into the system and liaise with tenants, landlords, and contractors to ensure timely resolution.
- Assisting the Property Manager: Provide support to the Property Manager as needed to ensure efficient Property Management operations.
- Property Management Administration: Assist with administrative tasks related to Property Management, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Compliance: Stay up to date with property regulations and legislation to ensure full compliance.
Reception
A receptionist serves as the face and voice of the office, providing administrative support and ensure smooth communication both internally and externally. The primary responsibilities typically include:
- Answering Phones and Greeting Office Walk-Ins: Provide a warm welcome to all visitors and clients, and handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing them to the appropriate team member.
- Ensuring Immaculate Presentation of the Office: Maintain a clean and organised office environment to ensure a positive first impression for visitors.
- Processing Outgoing Mail: Assist with sorting and processing outgoing mail to ensure timely delivery.
- Accurate Data Entry: Maintain accurate records and databases through efficient data entry and organisation.
- Email and Diary Management: Assist with managing email correspondence and maintaining calendars for team members.
- Assist Sales and Property Management Teams: Provide administrative support to the broader teams as needed, including scheduling appointments and preparing documents.
- General Office Tasks: Assist with general office tasks such as photocopying, ordering and organising office supplies
